Gemma graduated from La Trobe University in Bundoora in 2019, with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice.
Gemma is familiar to the Wimmera, having grown up in Rupanyup, and was keen to return home and work locally.
Gemma’s pursuit of a career in podiatry stems from her visits to the podiatrist in secondary school after sustaining a sports injury, as well as her love of sport, passion for helping others and ensuring everyone can achieve an active and healthy lifestyle.
Gemma is passionate about all aspects of podiatry and loves the variety of different conditions associated with it. She is particularly interested in paediatrics, as well as injuries obtained through sport and the management of musculoskeletal conditions of the foot such as achilles and heel pain. To complement this, Gemma has experience in Laser Therapy, Dry Needling and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy.
Outside of work, Gemma loves spending time with her family and friends, running, playing netball and tennis, reading, and watching movies.
